PROPERTY EXPERTISE

With more than 40 years experience in the real estate and property industry, my expertise includes analysis of property portfolio, management, acquisition and disposal in commercial, industrial and residential property.

I established M S Pitard Real Estate in 1961 and grew the business by acquiring several real estate agencies, including Geo M Hume Pty Ltd, which became my flagship for 18 years. As affiliation with an international group became relevant, I successfully negotiated with the DTZ group, a publicly listed company on the London Stock Exchange, to establish and head their Australian arm. DTZ is amongst the top five global property companies in the world. As Executive Chairman of DTZ Australia, I attended worldwide conferences, analysing property trends and assessing the integration of multi-use precincts and how such developments could be integrated into the local market and Australian culture.

My client list over the years has included major institutions including the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments, major banks including National Australia Bank and ANZ, AXA Property Trusts, AMP, Australia Post, Macquarie Bank, ESSS, Catholic Churches Insurance, and numerous private investor groups including Grollo and Becton.

He has been a Sole Trader in surburban agency and spent many years as a local Director of global real estate agency Knight Frank responsible for residential and commercial activities.
